18th Liverpool GB members joined voices with an American Christian singer/songwriter earlier this year.
The group joined in with Dan Holmes on his first date of his UK tour at St James' Church in Woolton in June 2018.
Team Leader Amy Bates says 'The girls sang 2 songs which we'd been practicing and they were amazing and got the audience singing and doing actions too. Dan loved having us as part of his show. This is the second time we've sang with him after he came to us in 2016.'
Dan says 'It's an honor to have the GB in Woolton join me in singing. Their enthusiasm was infectious, soon everyone was singing. I'm grateful for GB and want to thank their leader, Amy, for her leadership, support and encouragement. It was a great evening full of wonderful memories!'
Amy adds 'We also sang in worship on Sunday morning which was another moment I'll never forget!'
When you ask any former member of Girls’ Brigade what they remember most about being part of a group, it's likely they'll say their friends or the fun times they had earning badges. Perhaps they even still have them.
