Members of 1st Hooe, in Plymouth, have been learning how to keep the beaches in their community clean. They met with Oleta and Nathan, who run a charity called Plymouth Beach Clean, where they learnt about the damage rubbish does to beaches and, in particular, how nature is affected.
The girls then held a coffee and cake evening to raise funds for the charity, and made their own collecting boxes to collect from friends and family - raising £120.
