You can now help to raise money for GB in 4 different ways without spending any extra money!
Facebook birthday fundraisers
If you use Facebook, you can hold a birthday fundraiser for us. If you’d like to raise money for us in this way, find the ‘fundraisers’ section of our Facebook page and click ‘raise money’.
By shopping online at smile.amazon.co.uk and selecting Girls’ Brigade England & Wales as your chosen charity, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) to us. Sign up now at https://smile.amazon.co.uk/ch/1131935-0 and help us raise much needed funds for our work.
Crisp packet collection
The GB Support Centre is part of thecrisp packet recycling scheme, run byWalkers. We’ll get money for recycling (fundraising for our life-changing work) andthe crisp packets are cleaned and shredded to turn them into plastic pellets (social action asit’s good for the environment). These pellets are then transformed into park benches, plant pots, watering cans and cool bags! We can take any brand of crisp packet but not popcorn bags, crisp tubes, pretzel bags, or meat snack bags. Why not get your GB group or church collecting and send them to us?
Give as you Live
Give as you Live is a free and easy way to raise money for us, just by shopping online. Once you’ve signed up, you can browse their website for the store you want to shop with. Click ‘shop & raise’ to go to their website, then continue to shop as normal. Find out more at https://www.giveasyoulive.com/join/girlsbrigade
We’d welcome any donations, large or small, either in the post via cheque or online at www.give.net/gbm Your gift, whether monthly or as a one-off, will make a crucial contribution towards enabling GB to continue developing as a positive Christian influence on girls’ lives.
If you’re unable to support us financially, please tell others about our need and how they could contribute to our ministry - you can download a poster with these great fundraising ideas on to print and display at your church or where your GB group meet, and please continue to pray for GB. Because of your support thousands of girls and young women are engaging with Christian faith through Girls’ Brigade.
