Pray for GB's work and impact this month by downloading our prayer flyer for April 2019 or by checking out some online prayer pointers.
Prayer is the backdrop of GB and we'd love you to pray, as an individual or in a group, for the GB family.
Why not download the prayer flyer for April 2019 below or read on for the prayer points?
Below you’ll find 7 prayer points – 1 for each day of the week – so you can pray for each point around 4 times over the course of an average month.
GB International: Pray for GB International President Priscilla Penny from Zimbabwe and the International President’s team as they explore God’s vision and goals for seeing more lives transformed though GB’s ministry across the world.
GB Groups: Thank God for every girl and leader who’s part of the GB England & Wales family. Pray that God would meet each of their needs today and give those who need it a special encouragement.
Thank you: Have you paused recently and thanked God for the blessings that He has given you. What are you thankful for?
Easter: May the Easter story be heard afresh this year by all those who hear it through GB.
FIZZ mission team: In July, a group of 13 volunteers from GBEW, GBNI and GB Scotland will be heading to Uganda with a GB Europe FIZZ mission team. Pray for them as they prepare for the trip.
Nigeria: Pray for the 112 Chibok girls who were abducted over five years ago in Nigeria and remain missing; at least six are members of GB. Pray for comfort, strength and peace for them and their families, as well as freedom.
koko: Give thanks for the award-winning koko team who are passionate about raising hope for girls and for all who use the resources in their GB group, school or church.
Girls’ Brigade Ministries recently hosted the first ever Build Hope breakfast for local church leaders in the Fisherman’s Chapel in Leigh-on-Sea, Southend.
This year, Girls’ Brigade England & Wales has become an official partner with UK Parliament Week, which means we’re producing our own special UK Parliament Week booklet and badge.
This week (1-7 June 2019) we've been celebrating Volunteers' Week 2019 by giving thanks for our volunteers and all that they do week in and week out for the children and young people in their GB group(s).
