Pray for GB's work and impact this month by downloading our prayer flyer for August 2019 or by checking out some online prayer pointers.
Prayer is the backdrop of GB and we'd love you to pray, as an individual or in a group, for the GB family.
Why not download the prayer flyer for August 2019 below or read on for the prayer points?
Below you’ll find 7 prayer points – 1 for each day of the week – so you can pray for each point around 4 times over the course of an average month.
Breathe!: As GB groups break for the summer holidays, may leaders have time to breathe, catch their breath and renew their spirits.
Summer activities: For all those attending residential events, festivals and holiday clubs over the summer holidays - may they have new experiences, fun, friendship and laughter and space to meet with God.
Retiring leaders and groups: We give thanks for leaders who have recently retired or stepped down and their faithful and steadfast service and for the girls and young women who will have experienced the transformation of God's love through the work of GB.
Those in difficult situations: For all those facing difficulties, that they may know that God is with them and feel His comfort and guidance as He leads them beside quiet waters.
New groups: Pray for new groups opening in September and give thanks that we can to continue God's mission in new areas. For new leaders stepping forward to seek, serve and follow Christ and that girls and young women in their areas to come along.
GB Europe FIZZ team: Pray for the team as they finish their mission trip and return from Uganda. We pray that God will have richly blessed the team as individuals and also the young people in the schools they have been working in.
Rest: Take time to rest on this Sabbath day; allow God's love and goodness to restore and renew as you dwell in the house of the Lord.
