Two GB groups held Macmillan Coffee Evenings in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Both 1st Anston and 3rd Sutton group members enjoyed raising money for the good cause on 2 October 2017 and 29 September 2017.
Sarah Marshall, Team Leader at 1st Anston, says ‘The girls and their families, along with our church family, came to support us and we’ve raised £100 so far.’ Their cake stand is pictured below.
GB Leader Helen Laws, from 3rd Sutton, says ‘Together with other events held at the church over that weekend we raised over £200. The n:gage, n:counta and n:spire groups helped sell the cakes and bric-a-brac and make the drinks. It was well attended by parents and other family members and no-one wanted to go home!’ Some of the group are pictured above.
The members and leaders at 1st Andover presented their local hospice with a cheque for £500 last month.Read more
