Are you creative? Like to capture stories visually? A budding photographer? Girls’ Brigade Europe has launched an exciting competition to celebrate GB’s 125th birthday and share stories of hope and transformation.
The competition has 5 fantastic categories and is open to all GB members and leaders:
Ages 4-7: Please take 1 photograph showing why you like GB
Ages 8-11: Please take 1 photograph highlighting your favourite memory of GB and provide a brief written explanation (no more than 300 words)
Ages 12-14: Please take 1 photograph explaining how GB has inspired you and provide a brief written explanation (no more than 300 words)
Ages 15-17: Please take 1-2 pictures to complete the sentence BECAUSE OF GB, I AM... and provide a brief written explanation (no more than 300 words)
Ages 18+: Please take 3 pictures to show how GB has transformed your life and provide a brief written explanation (no more than 300 words).
Entries will be judged on creativity, imagination and photography skill.
One winner will be picked from each category and then an overall winner will be picked at the Europe Gathering GB125 - outside Dublin in Ireland. All category winners will be displayed at this event.

The House of Commons’ Science and Technology Committee has launched an inquiry into the impact of social media and screen-use on young people’s health. The Commitee welcomes the perspectives and experiences, and details of any initiatives taken, by children, schools and youth organisations. We’d love to invite Girls’ Brigade Ministries' members and leaders to participate and add their unique perspectives, insights and experiences.Read more
