GB prayer pointers

A new Scaffold prayer bookmark will be uploaded each month for you to print, if you wish - see below to download January's.

But don't worry if you're already a current Scaffold subscriber, you'll still be sent a copy in the post/email.

You’ll notice that the Scaffold bookmark this month looks slightly different! In response to feedback and GB’s desire to continually be more relational and responsive in the way we pray, during 2012 there will be four Scaffold Extras which will include a thought for the month written by one of the GB team, prayer requests from GB groups or some creative prayer ideas and ways to support the ministry of GB further.

During the other months, you’ll receive/be able to download a normal bookmark - perfect for keeping in your Bible/on your noticeboard/fridge door etc.!

This month's bookmark is based around Philemon Ch.1:4-6 (NIV) – ‘I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers, because I hear about your love for all His people and your faith in the Lord Jesus. I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ.’

Let’s pray together…

• Thank God for the gift of prayer and any answers to prayer you’ve seen recently.
• Pray for GB groups in their planning at the start of a new year and for new opportunities to connect with more children and young people.
• 2012 is a key time of preparation and sowing seeds as GB prepares to grow more and celebrate 120 years of faithful and fruitful ministry in 2013. Ask God to bless those in companies and districts planning challenges and celebrations and inspiring others.
