Cliff Festival is an all-age fun annual Christian festival held at Cliff College in Derbyshire. GBM staff member Charlotte Hendy will once again be involved in Festival, and you’re invited to bring your GB group!
In 2019 Cliff Festival will take place from Friday 24 to Monday 27 May, over the bank holiday weekend.
Into all the World is the theme of Cliff Festival 2019, and through it we’ll be exploring how we can share our faith story with other people. There’s a mixed programme with plenty happening throughout the day to pick and choose from – Bible studies, seminars, on-site activities such as football and climbing wall, and a varied after-hours entertainment programme. There’s also a dedicated age-specific programme for children, young people and young adults:
Awesome - 3-11 years old
Ignite - 11-14 years old
Furnace - 14-18 years old
Radiate - 18-30 years old.
Cliff Festival is a great opportunity for GB groups – it’s free for under-18s and an opportunity for young people to explore faith in an exciting way. For those looking for a residential, there’s plenty of on-site camping space available. Or alternatively, why not come for the Saturday only and get a taste of Festival?
Charlotte Hendy, GBM’s Discipleship and Evangelism Enabler who isa part of the Cliff Festival Advisory Team, says ‘Whatever your age, there’s something for you at Cliff Festival. It’s perfect for GB groups looking for that mix of fun, fellowship and faith. I’m excited to be back at Cliff Festival this year leading the 18-30s Radiate venue, and each evening I’ll also be hosting the Big Tent. I can’t wait to say hi to your GB group there!’

This year, Girls’ Brigade England & Wales has become an official partner with UK Parliament Week, which means we’re producing our own special UK Parliament Week booklet and badge.
This week (1-7 June 2019) we've been celebrating Volunteers' Week 2019 by giving thanks for our volunteers and all that they do week in and week out for the children and young people in their GB group(s).
