Newcastle-based rock band Titus and gospel artist Freddie Kofi are both confirmed to appear at festival northern saints.
The brand new festival, taking place over the bank holiday weekend 27–30 August, will enable young people from all over the north to enjoy a great festival experience without having to travel to the other end of the country.
Organised by the Boys’ Brigade, Girls’ Brigade and North East Region of Youth Officers in the Church of England, it would be great to see as many GB groups as possible there.
Freddie Kofi will be leading worship and building northern saints’ very own gospel choir and Titus will be playing on Saturday night.
Each day there will be a full programme including worship in different styles, activities, games, competitions and loads of time to chill out around the site.
There will be a beauty zone offering nail painting and hair braiding; and an electronic games arcade area featuring large screen games using Wii and Xbox. Plus there will be northern saints’ very own version of The X Factor – for which the first prize has just been announced as a day in a recording studio!
Book to come as a group or individual, for the weekend or the day, at northern saints.
