Updated resource from GB Europe

28 Apr 2017

GB Europe has published an updated 2017 edition of its Working with Young People with Additional Needs resource - and it's free for you to download.

The resource includes information, tips and further links on working well with young people with ADHD, Asperger Syndrome, Asthma, Autism, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Hearing Impairment, Spina Bifida, and Tourette Syndrome.

This new revised edition also includes new topics like mental health, new sections on how to engage young people with faith, and ideas of inclusive games and sports.

Dr Claire Rush, GB Europe Chair, says 'Our God is an all-inclusive God and we want to ensure our work with young people in Girls’ Brigade is equally as inclusive and accessible. We hope that this revised edition of the GB Europe’s additional needs resource will help to equip and resource your important ministry to all young people.'

GB Europe would like to thank everyone who contributed to creating and updating this resource, in particular, The Big House Ireland.
