‘Working with the girls each week is a real pleasure. Knowing they’re having fun and enjoying themselves and seeing them grow up, both physically and spiritually, makes all the hard work and effort worthwhile,’ says Jane Smith, Captain of 1st Dagenham Company.
GB is delivered by volunteers and thousands of adults across the country are involved in its work.
‘Whether you want to make the tea or have a skill you could share, GB needs you,’ says Ruth Gilson, National Director.
‘Volunteers are always needed to support the work of our local groups but also to help at one-off national events, working groups and projects.
‘Or you may also be interested in being part of the national leadership of GB through our trustee scheme.’
So, if you’re thinking about getting involved, why not give us a call?
