This week (1-7 June 2019) we have been celebrating Volunteers' Week 2019 by giving thanks for our volunteers and all that they do week in and week out for the children and young people in their GB group(s).
We've been sharing Volunteers' Week case studies, and an infographic sharing more about GB, on our social media. We're so blessed by our volunteers and it's great to celebrate them in this way!
Check out what we've been sharing below.
In Volunteers' Week 2019, we'd like to say THANK YOU to all volunteers for the time and energy you give GB!
Without our volunteers and the hours they give, GB wouldn't run so successfully. These statistics show just how much GB leaders, helpers and other volunteers are key to that success.
It's great to find out first-hand from our community group leaders what they do and why them love it. Leonie Emery, Team Leader and District Team Leader in Leicestershire, above, and Sam Cree, Team Leader and District Team Leader in Northumberland & Durham share their views and experiences, below.
