Why do I feel so bad? GB's winter conference

4 Nov 2017

Around 120 leaders attended GB's winter conference today.

The event, at St Luke’s Church Centre in Birmingham, focused on equipping GB leaders to help young women deal with difficult emotions like guilt and shame. GB’s President Rachel Gardner and Advocacy & Participation Co-ordinator Claire Rush led the Volumise session looking at this important issue. Registered GB leaders will be able to access free resources on this topic on the GB leaders' online resource base next week.

The conference also gave GB leaders the chance to hear the latest GB news, and to worship and network with each other.

One GB leader says 'Just wow and awesome - thank you.'

Another says 'Once again an amazing day - smashing speakers and awesome worship.'

And another says 'Another great conference. Feel refreshed, empowered and God-filled.'

Other conference updates included:

  • Plans to mark our anniversary year in 2018 including the launch of our fabulous range of #WeAreGB125 products from GB Trading
  • Feedback from events such as The Ghana Gathering for under 30s and The Esther Collective residential for all ages
  • The launch of the 2017-18 Team Challenge
  • And much, much more.
